Tips for MBEs | Tips for Corporate Members

Tips for Corporate Members

  1. Invite purchasing agents and key executives that would benefit from witnessing supplier diversity in action.

  2. Invite MBEs that you are currently doing business with or new suppliers that you know to the Sponsors' Luncheon. It is an excellent opportunity to introduce them to your purchasing agents.

  3. Bring information and literature that will outline your purchasing needs - both long term and short term. Provide proper procedures for registering with your organization.

  4. Utilize the Council's “Construction Site.” Identify upcoming construction contracts for your organization. Schedule project managers to participate in this outstanding opportunity.

  5. Jump Start Your 2nd Tier Program - Encourage your primes to participate and inform them of this excellent venue to generate additional viable MBEs.
