Mike Narula

Mike Narula is the founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Reliance Communications, LLC. Mike launched his distinguished career in the wireless industry in the U.S. in the mid nineties. Mike’s well deserved reputation as a highly motivated professional has developed throughout his 15 plus years of entrepreneurial business experience, and his proven track record of building successful businesses from the ground up.

In 2006 Mike Narula formed Reliance Communications, LLC (USA), with the primary goal of becoming one of the nation’s premier wireless distribution companies. Reliance soon acquired Quintex Wireless, further augmenting the business client base and supplier relationships. By 2009 the Company had moved to a 20,000 square foot warehouse and office building, and was establishing close working relationships with the largest suppliers of cellular handsets, including such names as Motorola, Samsung, LG, PCD and RIM. In March of 2010, the company became an Authorized Verizon Wireless Distributor, one of only three such designated companies in the United States. Reliance’s annual sales volume has increased by 300% in each of the past three years, with further growth projected. In 2012 the company expects to move into a significantly larger corporate office and warehouse facility.
In 2010 Mike Narula formed AirTyme Communications, Private Limited, to leverage his success in the
U. S. market and to continue his path of growth in the Republic of India. Within the first year of its existence, AirTyme has purchased corporate office space and a warehouse facility, established supplier relationships with PCD and Motorola, and has formed a strategic partnership with Teleepoch Limited. Mike will use his experience, knowledge and insight to penetrate the Indian market as only he knows how to do.

In 2011 Reliance announced a complete line of cell phone accessories to compliment its wireless phone lineup and to provide customers with simplified one-stop order fill capability. Reliance offers over 200 accessory products in ten of the most popular categories: protective cases; memory (micro and SD cards); batteries; connectors; screen protection; auxiliary power (quick-charge devices); docking stations; and music-related devices (ear buds, etc.).

With the continued rapid growth of the mobile phone industry and online product buying, Mike has reached out to, and has established, distribution channels to Amazon.com, a leading global Internet company and one of the most trafficked Internet retail destinations worldwide. In less than one year, Reliance distributed over 100,000 devices to support Amazon’s wireless and mobile accessories category.

In 2012 Through constant drive and persistent effort, Mike Narula established supplier relationships with Sears Holding Corporation in two different distribution channels; Sears in Manteno, Illinois and Kmart is Lawrence, Kansas. In addition, Reliance’s new Go-To-Market Program will inform shoppers that Sears/Kmart is their mobile destination. This program is scheduled to roll out in the second quarter of 2012, with the in-house verticals of PCD (product design), Reliance (Verizon Wireless relationship and supply chain), AirTyme Communications (reverse logistics expertise and reclamation services) and Sear/Kmart (carrier relationships and national mobile retail presence).  The added bonuses as a result of this joint venture will include the stimulation of organic growth through new jobs, increased store traffic, and achieving higher levels of customer satisfaction.

Reliance is now a proud sponsor of the Mayor’s Cup All Scholastic Tennis Championships, hosted by the New York Junior Tennis League, a tennis and education themed charitable organization that offers comprehensive school and community based programs throughout New York City’s five boroughs, reaching more than 100,000 youths from ages 6-18.
