
The journey of Rangam started in 1995 by two young technocrats with innovation and quality services in mind after getting corporate experience with various fortune 500 companies, such as, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Johnson & Johnson, AT&T, Lucent, Telcordia, McKinsey, and Verizon. The goal was to serve information to technology industries with better cost-effective enterprise technological solutions and provide highly skilled resources for technology projects.
In the beginning of the year Rangam was funded by consulting revenue from the founders of the development and marketing of the products developed by Rangam. Between 1997-2001, the IT industry was flourished by e-commerce boom, and Rangam developed B2B and B2C portals. With the Dot-com bubble bust in 2001-2002, Rangam lost the hope of success with the loss of hundreds of thousands of dollars of investment in developed technology. In the field of Information Technology when the technology changes rapidly, in 2002 Rangam’s multi-million dollar intellectual property became worth nothing.
In 2004, a large client from the life science industry with global headquarter in New Jersey, entrusted Rangam when the size of Rangam was less than $1Million in revenue. After 10 years of partnership, now Rangam has grown to almost $15M in revenue with some larger clients from Telecom, Pharmaceutical, Insurance and Energy sectors.
With lots of failures and some successes, Rangam has grown to a well-respected size staffing company with a sister innovative technology company WebTeam Corporation in the last 17 years. . In 2005, Rangam started its offshore subsidiary, Rangam InfoTech Pvt. Ltd is now serving Rangam with staff of over 65 highly professionals for its back office support and management. After the successful relationship with Life Science Company, Rangam added some large Telecom, Insurance, Energy sector client and more. In last 10 years, Rangam has successfully established a track record with all its client is as a top five performing vendor in almost all quarters. The success of Rangam is due to its innovative approach to manage the staffing life cycle process utilizing mobile technology, social network and web based recruiting model.
In the bad credit market, Rangam has managed almost 100% organic growth rate in last three years. Along with this growth, Rangam has participated and funded some of the most appreciated efforts in the area of Autism intervention with its sister company WebTeam Corporation. Recently in the Autism Awareness Month of April, 2012, Rangam and WebTeam Corporation have received commendations and proclamations from the Governor Chris Christie and the Mayor of Franklin Township Mr. Levine on Their great work done to serve the Autism Community. On Thursday, May 17, 2012 Shanesh COLORS program was in Courier News. Our Autism intervention app downloads has exceeded 50,000 downloads in last 6 months. We have successfully launched over 40 different apps in Google Play and iTunes for Autism intervention. During the month of April we had total over 20,000 plays of our apps where individuals from all over the world have learned something from using our apps.
